I'm so pleased to be able to kick-off our month of celebrations in honor of the new love2learn website and our 10th anniversary online with a book giveaway courtesy of Catholic Heritage Curricula.
CHC was one of our earliest supporters, offering encouragement on our project and supporting us through advertising since we purchased the love2learn.net domain name in 1999.
I'm also delighted that one of the books CHC has generously donated to our drawing is a copy of Suchi Myjak's beautiful third grade science text, Behold and See 3. It is also through Suchi's hard work that love2learn is able to continue growing with the new website (the old website, which was entirely hand-coded, became too unwieldy to continue to update).
Book Giveaway:
I will post information about each book in its own separate post on this blog. If you'd like to enter the drawing, please leave a comment on the post of each book that you're interested in (of course we'd also love to hear what you think of the new site). Leave your comments by tomorrow (Tuesday) night at midnight, and we'll draw a winner for each book on Wednesday morning.
Keep an eye out for our next drawing later this week.
Please keep this project, our benefactors and all those in the Catholic homeschool community in your prayers. One aspect of the new site I'd like to bring to your attention is our prayer requests section: http://www.love2learn.net/prayerrequests.htm A good friend once described the ability of praying together for each other and for special intentions via the power of the Internet as a foretaste of the Communion of Saints. Please feel free to send your own prayer requests to webmaster at love2learn dot net.
